To see the things we pass by every day – cultural education across the city

Velvary cultural and educational centre – was created as a platform to connect Velvary cultural and educational institutions, associations, and individuals. We create and implement lecture-based educational programmes for schools, kindergartens, and children groups, but also programmes for groups of tourists or residents of Velvary, and seminars for teachers and museum pedagogues.

There is no chateau or castle in Velvary, nor is the city surrounded by a breathtaking landscape that could capture your heart, yet it hides many treasures that can be easily overlooked in the shadow of nearby Prague. We strive to teach the locals how to discover these treasures and consider them as their own, and then search together for other treasures.
