Where forgotten dreams dwell

The Valdštejnské imaginárium is a non-profit organisation that strives to revive the historical building of the Valdštejnská Loggia, employing alternative ways. The organisation has created a cultural community centre in an extraordinary setting, connecting performing arts, original authors’ works, and unique approaches to learning about history. The Cultural Imaginarium project focuses on performing arts, alternative culture, non-traditional family events, and site-specific projects. For instance, the project Non-Traditional Revival of Traditions is an attempt to approach traditions in an unconventional way. It includes events such as ČARODĚNÍ (Witchcraft), SLAVNOST STROMŮ (Celebrating Trees), and DIVOVÁNOCE (Wonderful Christmas). Each year the organisation partners with Nová síť to present MALÁ INVENTURA JIČÍN, a festival of new and alternative theatre, and since 2018 it has been organising LODŽIE WORLDFEST, a festival of alternative music, world music, and non-traditional theatre. The Historical Imaginarium is dedicated to making the fascinating monument and its story accessible to the public.
