Artist residency house in southern Bohemia countryside

As an artist residency house located in the countryside in a unique setting of South Bohemia – in the heart of ancient landscape of Doudlebsko, we encourage artists to draw inspiration from the place and benefit from the solitude (and the presence) that our surroundings offer. REZI.DANCE enables artists to enter an immersive space of creativity so that their artistic processes can develop and thrive. A close connection with the village of Komařice is emphasized, where folklore traditions are maintained and a responsible approach to environment is cultivated. We support and welcome involvement of Komařice community in creative processes and artistic interventions of our residents. Thanks to the residency programme, cultural and social exchange takes place, and the world of art and the life in the village intertwine, enriching each other. “We live where deep beech forests rustle, pools and ponds make you feel cool, and Celtic places are still in existence. It is our landscape. It is inspiring, mysterious, dynamic, and unrestrained. We want to share this landscape with those who seek new places to discover and get inspired by for their artistic practice.”
